UW Women's Golf Drops to 13th at Arizona Invitational Sophomore Kamimura leads Washington

TUCSON, Ariz. - The Washington women's golf team fell from ninth to 13th place in the second round of the Arizona Wildcat Invitational. The Huskies combined for a two-day, team-total of 603. Host Arizona took the lead from Stanford, taking a 9-under 567 strokes in two rounds. Arizona State shares the two-slot with the Cardinal, each team combining for a two-day score of 574.

Beth Bauer of Duke holds on to the lead with a 6-under total of 138. Arizona's Christina Monteiro fired a 68 on the day and moved into 2nd place.

Sophomore Kelli Kamimura has the lowest total for the Huskies with 150. Junior Elisha Au rebounded after difficulties in round one by carding the lowest score of the day for Washington with 73.

The Arizona Invitational will be decided Wednesday, Feb. 23.
